So, Season 2, first episode. What did everyone think. I liked a few things and did not enjoy others but I was glad that they seemed to be going back to the old format that worked....Mainly plot and singing thrown in for fun.
I enjoy the new characters, both have great voices but not impressed with their lack of gumption to join glee. Also, really enjoyed that they are now a family and stick by each other. Also really laughed that a petition has been started to stop Mr. Shue from rapping! Favourite line, and really enjoyed his surprise.
What I didn't enjoy,
Rachel....I didn't like any of her story line, from the duet in the bathroom to the lack of acceptance. Although she probably has major trust issues since Jesse smashed that egg on her head.
Also, I just don't like Mr. Shue as a person, he is so wishy washy, joining with sue to be mean then feeling bad about it when someone makes him feel guilty. I mean come on....he does the same thing everytime he has a story line, makes the wrong choice...someone makes him feel guilty then he gets the 'awww shucks, I'm sorry' act on.

On a final note....the episode was good, but it wasn't gold star material. I would say a solid B episode.

My favourite was Telephone, cause I love that song, and cause Sunshine fah-reaking rocks!

I'm worried about this one. Ok Telephone, Every Rose Has A Thorn, Listen, Billionaire, That boring one Rachel sang, oh and New York. I think that's all....so 6 songs.

BADDDDD! I like Mike Chang, but I love Artie, Artie is sad therefore Tina's new relationships sucks donkeys.

Ok, this is a hard one, cause I kind of think it is both. She definitely doesn't want more stars on the team. But after the Glee Club protected her and helped her after the egging...I think she really does feel like they are her family. So I believe she does want to protect them too.
I will agree with you on the episode rating. Here are my thoughts. I love the new characters, they are good additions, so, so sad to see dancer 2 gone though. I thought that they did a very bad job of making Rachel look like a teenager in that episode, she looked so freaking old, that annoyed me. There was not enough Kurt, there is never enough Kurt, it could be a whole show about Kurt and I will still say there wasn't enough Kurt. I love, love, love Beist. I feel sorry for her, love her, and hate her all at the same time. Awesome actress. Also, if you check her imdb profile, she's actually quite pretty. I found many of the songs boring. I thought about fast forwarding songs a few times. That made me sad. Also, I love Finn, love him, love him so much! Next week is the Britney episode. I am so excited for this because, hello, Britney! And also, that means we will seeing more Brittany, which is never bad. And my favourite lines of the night were: 1) I can't even remember what it was, but whatever Brittany said during the cat fight, it was just so emotionless I laughed so much and 2) Poop cookies? Did you make poop cookies?
I figured I would give this a go too, but I was multi tasking during the episode so we'll see how I do.

I would say telephone. It was a super fun improptu duet in the bathroom. Let's be honest, everyone loves when that happens in real life! Plus the fact that it ends with Sue coming in and telling them to "shut up!"

This is a tough one. I am going to say bad because Artie is so sad and he is cool. I did like the scene where Mike is dancing and they fall in love though. It made me laugh!

Definitely to protect herself! Otherwise she would never have even tried to approach Sunshine. She only made that excuse after she heard her sing and decided she was too good!
